First time at this Black Bear Diner for a birthday lunch with the family. We called ahead as we had 10 people for lunch but was told we didn't need a reservation..walked in and was seated right away. Service was good, food was good, my girlfriend and I shared a Cobb salad and chicken series with fries.
Stopped in on my way to run some errands. Service was fast and with smiles. There was no wait even though there were quite a few people there dining. I ordered carry out and got my food hot and it was delicious. I'll be back!
We decided to eat here because we are a large group and there are so many options on the menu...something for everyone. We were seated immediately and the dining room was spotless. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Our food came out very quickly and was served piping hot. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
This is the first time I come to this establishment. I've already been to the one at Fairfield and Tracy. And like the previous other places the Black Bear Diner's food never disappoints. The food here was also delicious, and so are their pies. My chicken steak was soft I was able to cut it with my fork, and my eggs runny just the way I like them. I also liked the cute souvenirs at the entrance, that was cute. Now for a very busy place we didn't wait a long time to be seated, get our drinks and food. Their service was all around wonderful.
Our waitress, can't remember her name but she went above and beyond to explain the differences in the menu, size of dishes and made recommendations about some dishes.
My bacon cheddar burger was really delicious. Fries were nice and crunchy and the veggies were fresh.
Healthy options - you can ask for your burger with greens & the no-bun option. Many do. Healthy salad options and fish choices. Burgers are excellent of course.
Super homey, fun, and friendly. Full of fun, bear themed decorations. Very quick service, good food. Waiters were just incredible by how efficient and nice day they were.
